Phoundry Lab ("Phoundry," "we," "us," or "our") wants you to be satisfied with Phials. This Refund Policy explains when you can receive a refund for a Phials purchase made through our website or account portal.

30-day money-back guarantee

If you are not satisfied with Phials for any reason, you may request a full refund within 30 days of your original purchase date.

This guarantee applies to all paid Phials plans:

  • Phials Standard (perpetual license)
  • Phials Subscription (refund of the first subscription charge within 30 days of that charge)
  • Phials Lifetime

Prices are listed in U.S. dollars (USD). Promotional pricing (for example, early-access discounts) does not change the refund window.

How to request a refund

Email [email protected] from the email address associated with your purchase (or include your order or license details so we can locate it). Tell us you would like a refund under this policy.

We will process eligible refunds through Stripe to your original payment method. Refund timing may depend on your bank or card issuer.

Purchases are processed through Stripe Managed Payments, with Link (a Stripe company) as merchant of record, so you may also be able to request a refund through Link customer support. A refund granted either way has the same effect on your license (see below).

Effect on your license

When a refund is completed:

  • Your Phials license is revoked and activations are disabled
  • You should uninstall Phials or stop using the software
  • Signed license files cached on your devices will no longer validate after revocation

This matches our automated refund handling and prevents continued use after a refunded purchase.

Subscriptions

If you request a refund within 30 days of your first subscription payment, we will refund that payment and cancel the subscription.

After the 30-day window, subscription charges are not refundable under this policy, but you may cancel future renewals at any time through your account portal. Cancellation stops future billing; you retain access through the end of the paid period, after which an active license or trial is required to continue using Phials (see our pricing FAQ and Phials EULA).

Update renewals

Optional update renewal purchases (extending access to new Phials releases on a perpetual license) are separate from the initial license purchase. Contact us within 30 days of an update renewal charge if you believe the renewal was made in error; we handle those requests case by case.

Chargebacks

If you initiate a chargeback or payment dispute with your bank instead of contacting us, we may suspend your account and license while the dispute is investigated. Because Link is the merchant of record, payment disputes are handled by Stripe; contacting us first is usually faster.

Changes

We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. The effective date at the top of this page will change when we do. The policy in effect at the time of your purchase applies to that purchase unless law requires otherwise.
